Fall wedding favorite

Posted

October weddings are some of our favorites. It is after the big wedding season and we get to use such rich colors and textures for our fall themed weddings. This wedding took place in Oct of 2013 at the Colonial art center in Idaho Falls. The bride was such a dream to work with and made our job easy. We absolutely loved working with her and her mom.

We used alot of purples and oranges as our main colors with an accent of browns and some yellow. We got to add some really amazing texture with pheasant feathers and wheat. The bridesmaids flowers are a single Mango Calla Lily with some wheat and seeded eucalyptus. The brides bouquet was seriously so amazing in person with the wheat color and the feathers throughout. We used all Picassa Calla Lilies  and orange Hypericum Berries.

For the Boutonnieres we used the same combination of the berries and Mango Calla Lilies. The Groom matched the Calla with hes and used the Picassa Calla.

This centerpiece is made on a candle holder! We took these beautiful candle holders and turned them into a holder for our floral center pieces. The flowers consisted of orange Lilies, Purple Dianthus, Hypericum Berries, two varieties of roses Cayanne and  a fantastic Confetti Rose. The fillers are Seeded Eucalyptus &  Limonium. The Table Clothes we used were from Signature Party Rental in Idaho Falls and it is a really nice plum satin on the ivory polyester.

These mini center pieces we did for the High Boys (also known as cocktail tables) turned out so fun. They had collected all these old gasses and brought them in for us to fill for the tables. We used these fabulous dark purple florigene carnations (I will go into detail on another post why I think that carnations are a highly underrated flower) both colors of the roses and again the bright purple dianthus.

Seriously, can we talk about how fun and textural this photo sit?! The feathers and seeded Euc make for such a perfect fall bridal bouquet. I love the background with the hexagon tiles. I love this bouquet!

This is the side of the bouquet, you can see the detail and cuff of the bouquet with the wheat.

once again Kristi Sheriff did an absolutely amazing job on these photos.
